Our Story

Evereden is a subsidiary of Jeffco Fibres Inc.

Founded in 1971, Jeffco is a progressive and rapidly growing family owned and operated business with focus on values customer service oriented relationships with its customers.

We are situated in three facilities in Massachusetts, with corporate headquarters in Webster, MA. USA.

Journey Into Wool

Evereden’s journey into organic wools started in 1990 –we were one of the first company to start developing wool products for the North American market. During the early days, wool was grown to various organic standards. We grew and developed with the industry, and in 2008 became certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard by Oregon Tilth. Since 2008 we have developed a range of organic products and look forward to creating the next generation. We are also members of the Organic Trade Association – helping to support the growth of organic products.

Wool Integrity Program

We have partnered with the Wool Integrity program in New Zealand to ensure that we bring to our customers the best. All the wool brought to you can be traced back to the individual farms in New Zealand. All the farms in the program are compliant with the PGG Wrightson Wool Integrity Program which guarantees best farming practices with free range, pasture fed sheep for all farms.

The Wool Integrity program ensures the use of environmentally safe detergents and no bleach in the scouring process. This results in clean wool that remains stable throughout the processing and manufacturing process, reducing costs and increasing quality of your final product.
